The City of Whittlesea selected Civica and its local government software suite in order to achieve a core business solution across the Council. Central to the Civica solution is a single database, enabling Whittlesea to benefit from entering data once only for use by all staff. Using Civica’s integrated e-Service solution, the Council is delivering services electronically based on centrally maintained corporate data for properties and names which can be accessed by all departments for their business and e-Service applications. In a recent cost/benefit analysis for a number of external service delivery processes, City of Whittlesea achieved savings per transaction of up to 79%.
