Phill qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) and then spent six years working for British Aerospace (now BAE SYSTEMS) in various roles in their military aircraft manufacture and support businesses.

He then joined the Capita Group plc, the UK leading BPO provider and for seven years worked as Finance Director in a variety of their businesses, culminating as Divisional Finance Director in their Business Services Division, which consisted of Property Consultancy, HR Outsourcing and Recruitment businesses.

After leaving Capita, Phill moved to Equiniti, the private equity buy-out of the former Lloyds TSB Registrars business, as UK Finance & Commercial Director, and then joined Civica as Group Finance Director on 1st October 2009.

Phill is married with three children and lives in Lancashire.
