Location: Any UK Office or Home Based
Status:  Permanent

Objective: The position will lead the technical design and development of the ICT solution for BSF projects and ensure that the bid is commercially deliverable whilst maintaining the companies reputation for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ICT design input for bids in BSF
• Co-ordinate the supply chain response and meetings to deliver the bid inputs
• Ensure Companies position is not compromised commercially
• Develop technical solutions with our partners

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of the ICT role in delivering the education curriculum
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Learning Gateway
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Serve
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server
• Expert knowledge of server and desktop operating systems including Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Business Desktop Deployment (BDD)
• Good knowledge of network connectivity solutions and implementations
• Good knowledge of hardware solutions in use, Dell Server hardware specifically.
• Good knowledge of Cisco IP-Telephony, LAN and wireless systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft server clustering technologies
• Storage technology skills: RAID/NAS/SAN
