Improving staff performance and knowledge
During a period of significant change and continued new regulation, local staff need to be kept up to date with legislation as well as core skills. Civica’s approach is to make training relevant to both management and staff and to incorporate local policies and procedures into an overall training solution.

Led by qualified practitioners with strengths across core local government services such as revenues and benefits, Civica’s specialists combine training expertise with direct experience of the subject. We work alongside in-house training staff to design Training Needs Analysis programmes and also to assist in formulating training plans.

 

A particular focus on blending training with procedures manual development enables local staff to combine legislation, office procedures and system-based skills in their daily tasks. And of course our trainers can teach new members of staff to use your IT systems as part of their initial training and development.
