VT Software changes name to Civica.
Asset management specialist rebrands to reflect integration
Civica has announced that group company VT Software, a leader in asset management systems and related services, has changed its name to Civica.
Following its acquisition of VT Software from VT Group plc in January, Civica has integrated and rebranded the company, which specialises in asset and service management systems. These include the well-known Tranman fleet management solution and the Servitor housing repairs software as well as solutions for improving field oriented workforce productivity.
The change of name for VT Software is announced as the company continues to strengthen its market position, in particular in the public sector but also with a growing commercial base. Latest contract wins include the addition of Aberdeenshire council in the UK and government fleet management contractor SPANCO in Malaysia, adding to the company’s UK and international customer base of over 500 organisations, including local authorities, housing groups, defence departments, police forces, emergency services, and commercial firms.
John Hood, Civica’s Divisional Managing Director responsible for VT Software, said: “Since VT Software was acquired by Civica in January, we have benefited from becoming part of an enlarged group in a number of areas, including joint business opportunities. Working closely with the rest of Civica’s UK operations, and combining our market-leading software with the group’s wider consulting, software and managed services, we are well positioned to support evolving customer needs to deliver better services and improved efficiency.”
