sending the right students

All staff will need to attend the Basic skills course, and the majority will benefit from attending the Premises course.

Civica courses, other than Basic skills, are structured to suit students with certain existing Authority Public Protection knowledge. For each course we publish the pre-requisites for attendance.

can I bypass the pre-requisites?

We strongly recommend that you adhere to these pre-requisites if your authority is to gain full benefit. If you know that your prospective students already have the skills needed to benefit from the course please call us to discuss. We often send a questionnaire to check the level of existing skills. Students are asked to complete and return it at least 10 days before the start of the course so that we can ensure that their level of Authority Public Protection knowledge is adequate.

We DO provide tailored training courses using customers own data.
We DO provide tailored training course using the Civica training data.
