Training at Customer Sites:
CPP training can normally be arranged at any customer site with appropriate facilities.
If you would like to arrange any course for your users and can accommodate a few more from interested neighbouring councils, then perhaps we can run a combined course for you!
For example Charnwood Borough Council are hoping to run Initial Implementation and Exporting to Word courses at their offices in Loughborough.
If you are interested in attending either of these courses please contact Vickie Poyser for further information, email: vickie.poyser@charnwood.gov.uk
For any training queries please email cpptraining@civica.co.uk or call Katy Freeman on 01225 485008.
e-Learning:
In response to customer feedback, Civica announced its intention to launch new interactive CPP e-learning solutions early in the New Year.
These courses are offered in addition to our trainer-led courses. Their content will reflect those areas of the system which are in common use across our customer base. More complex service specific modules will be added over time.
e-Learning is aimed at all new and existing users of the Authority system. The fully simulated system shows users how to carry out a range of common processes and also allows them to practice those processes at their own pace. There’s also an accreditation system so that you know exactly how everyone is doing.
Using CPP e-learning alongside our existing Trainer led courses will deliver a number of key benefits.
For the first time you’ll be able to offer basic training and accreditation to all new users of the system in a very cost and time efficient manner. You’ll also be able to put new starters through the courses as they join, rather than waiting to fill all the places on a course.
We’re also looking at a new points-based system for purchasing training services which we hope will give more flexibility in choosing training services.
