“The transfer of Housing stock does not, in most cases, break all links with the Local Authority and we can see a real advantage to customers being able to aggregate ASB and envirocrime data using new or existing Authority Public Protection systems. We look forward to working with SHG and other similar organisations to further enhance the model configuration and best practices for Authority Public Protection use in this area of work.”
Welcome new customers
Southern Housing chooses “Authority” for tackling ASB, Falkirk Council has become the 20th Scottish site to purchase Authority Public Protection and City of London will be using APP for ASB.

Southern Housing Group have purchased the Authority Public Protection system to record and report on Anti Social Behaviour and Housing-related complaints.

Based in Clerkenwell, London, SHG is one of the largest Housing Associations in South East England, housing 48,000 residents, owning and managing 24,000 homes, employing 900 people and working with over 70 local authorities. Deployed using thin client technology to a number of SHG offices, up to 30 users will be accessing the Authority system at any one time, in an effort to improve responses to all it's residents- both tenants and leaseholders.

The target go-live date for this project is early February 2007 and includes links to third party systems and the ability for residents to submit compliants on-line.
The addition of SHG to our customer lists reflects the importance of ASB and complaint management across a wider audience than just our Local Authority users. Previously we have welcomed Chester and District Housing Trust and a number of other RSL/ALMO’s who have ‘tapped into’ existing LA customer system such as Berneslai Homes (Barnsley), New Prospect Housing (Salford), Tristar (Stockton- on-Tees) and Hartlepool Housing (Hartlepool) to name a few.

Not un-typically, the larger Registered Social Landlords and Housing Trusts are spread over a number of regional offices with housing stock in many different parts of the country. The use of Citrix as a means of accessing the Authority Public Protection system from any location will allow any user the flexibility of home, remote or multi-office working and the Southern Housing implementation should provide an excellent example of this in practice.

Falkirk Council has become the 20th Scottish site to purchase Authority Public Protection.

The 20-user system will be adopted by a number of departments around the council, for recording and reporting on incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour. Lead by the Conflict Resolution Service, a pilot rollout will take place in January 2007, prior to full go-live in April

City of London
The Parks and Open Spaces Department will use the system to record incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour in areas such as Hampstead Heath, and to report performance targets to it's citizens. The system will primarily be used by the Area Manager and his team of Constables.
